Carina might not love me for putting up this very rough (ie, first/incomplete) cut, but I think her song perfectly captures the feeling I have at the end of the year and the end of this project. We shot this footage a couple weeks ago and will shoot the second half of the song when I return in January. It's her song, her friends (some of which I am fortunate enough to be friends with as well) and her beautiful little idea. I look forward to seeing where this video goes. My parents and I came up to North Carolina with plans to return on the 31st. Weather didn't permit us to fly back, so we brought in the new year in this quiet little mountain town. Thank you all so much for indulging me this year in this rewarding/punishing little project. What a year.

It's a blessing to know one musical genius. The beauty of LA is that they run rampant here. Elia, Carina, the entire Stewart clan...all possess an incredible understanding of music. Here my friend Georgi gets set to tackle Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3, reputedly one of the most difficult pieces ever written for piano.

ok fine i admit it. i missed it a bit. it's good in proper doses. like coldplay. you know what i mean?
